Nowadays, medical consultations are associated with rising costs for our society and time expenditure for our patients. With the current state of technology, there open up new opportunities to optimize these processes. Dermatology as an image-centric specialty is particularly well suited for digital tools like telemedicine. Christian has performed a multicenter study to explore the unmet digital health service needs in dermatology patients and conducted a survey among Swiss dermatologists.

Based on his findings, he founded the teledermatology-platform Derma2go (www.derma2go.ch), with the vision to create a Swiss-wide, comprehensive, secure communication network between dermatologists, physicians and patients. His goal is to increase satisfaction as well as efficiency in patient care.
