Florian Anzengruber
Florian Anzengruber is an advanced resident in dermatology with an academic outlook. He is part of our genetics team. Currently, his main project is collecting and characterizing cohorts of neutrophil-mediated inflammatory dermatoses (NMID). Also, he is contributing to the Swiss Dermatology Network of Targeted Therapies (SDNTT), our registry that documents the efficacy and safety of systemic therapies in patients suffering from psoriasis and psoriasis arthritis. The SDNTT also focuses on the life quality of the patients and will be a part of the European network for psoriasis patients (PsoNet). Almost 300 patients have been recruited in Zurich.
Florian also contributes to the clinical development of our new app “Dermakonsil”. It is the first decision support system for general dermatology and aims to provide dermatological knowledge to students, residents and consultants both app- and webbased. It also functions as teaching tool.
Furthermore, he is interested in the pathogenetic role of cytokine profiles in severe inflammatory skin diseases, chiefly among them hidradenitis suppurativa/acne inversa. He has started to build a cohort of our 200+ patients at our hospital.
