Rebecca is an advanced PhD student, MSc (Trinity College, Dublin). Her expertise is generating whole exome sequencing datasets of human samples and using linux-based bioinformatics to analyze them. Her main project is investigating the genetic architecture of linear localized scleroderma, looking for somatic mutations driving this rare disease. She also found a new genetic driver of very severe acne and hidradenitis suppurativa.
